The EK6 has an f/1:12.8 100mm fixed focus lens. The shutter was capable of speeds up to 1/300 of a second. Other features are the built in flash, optical viewfinder, carry strap, and a ¼ inch 20 thread tripod socket. The camera needs two 6 volt SIZE J batteries that were held in the film compartment above the film slot and a test button with a red LED was located in the back top of the camera.
